Interview Alert!
In Prisoner Officers and Inmates Magazine (Edition 30), we’re thrilled to bring you an interview with Desiree Smith, the actress behind Officer Delia Stout on Prisoner!
Delia Stout was a dedicated trainee officer with a secret crush on colleague Marty Jackson, even joining Meg Morris to search for him during the chaotic bush fires and feeling immense relief when he was found safe. Delia’s story took a tough turn when Joan “The Freak” Ferguson began mocking her, sparking an emotional storyline that revealed her struggles. With meaty storylines like the tense boat trip where Rita attempted to kill The Freak, Delia’s role contributed to some of the show's drama—even if she “disappeared” without explanation.
Get Desiree’s insights on portraying Delia, those gripping moments, and what Prisoner means to her
